Can you park in National Trust car park overnight?
Overnight parking or camping is not allowed in National Trust car parks. Their locations are often remote and so aren’t convenient for accommodation, and overnight camping in these places can have negative effects on local wildlife.
Are National Trust car parks free to Blue Badge holders?
If you have mobility issues and you are a blue badge holder, remember that you’re able to park for free in our pay-and-display car parks as long as you display your badge – there is no need to scan. Though if you are with someone who can scan on your behalf, remember that the property will benefit from your visit.

Our driveway is 1 mile long, but we don’t expect those arriving by foot to walk. Our shuttlebus runs from the admissions kiosk at the entrance to the house, Information Centre and facilities from 10.30am until 5pm at weekends and house open days over the winter months.
