What is free on BimmerCode?
The website states that you have to PURCHASE the app to check compatibility with your model. The “free” version of the app only allows you to check the control modules that are “code-able” for your supported vehicle.
Is BimmerCode worth?
Bimmercode is excellent and well worth the money. I’ve set up the auto start/stop, removed the display warning at startup, changed the air recirculation settings, added the extra exhaust noise setting to the menu.
Can you tune BMW with BimmerCode?
Yup, they don’t interfere. BM3 is ECU tuning, while BimmerCode is programming other modules on the car. For common features like ASD, I assume BM3 & BimmerCode are just making the same coding changes to that specific entry in that module. Yup, they don’t interfere.
