Why do I have to pay vehicle park entry? Walkers and cyclists can enter the Parkland free of charge, but if you wish to enter by car, motorbike or other vehicle, we do charge for this.
Vehicle parkland entry applies to all visitors (including National Trust Members). Weekdays £8.00, and weekends and Bank Holidays £9.50. National Trust members enjoy free entry to the Mansion and Gardens.

Visitors are welcome to walk, cycle and play in 1,000 acres of Parkland for free. There are lots of great trails that provide wonderful walks, amazing viewpoints and idyllic spots to relax and reflect.

Why do National Trust members have to pay at Tatton Park?
As a National Trust member I was initially disappointed that there was a charge for the car park at Tatton Park. £5 seemed like a high charge but, apparently, this is due to an arrangement with the Local Council. As the day progressed, however, I had to admit that this was money well spent.

We welcome dogs in the Parkland and Stableyard courtyard under close control. If your pet obeys commands, short periods of off lead away from livestock and wildlife is allowed.
