If you’ve paid for a 24 hour stay and you wish to extend this, you can simply top-up your stay at the standard tariff price. The tariff prices will reset after 24 hours, these prices can be seen on the tariff board in the car park or online.
Can you get a ticket while sitting in your car UK?
You can get a parking ticket whether you’re sitting in, on, or next to your car.
Can I extend NCP parking?
Yes.Go to your Parking sessions in the app menu and use the Extend button on the relevant active session. Or alternatively use the parking expiry notification we’ll send you 15 minutes before your session is due to end.
Are parking charge notices enforceable?
Parking Charge Notices are the result of a parking infringement on private land or in a car park which is operated by private organisations on behalf of the landowner, and are not enforced by the local highways authority or the police.
Can I ignore private parking ticket?
Whether you have to pay a private parking fine will depend on who it was issued by. If the fine was issued by the police or council workers, known as a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN), you can’t ignore it. This is because they’re backed by the law and if you ignore this for too long, you could get summoned to court.
