How long can you stay in a car park without paying?
10-minute mandatory grace period in parking bays
If a vehicle is parked legally in a designated parking bay when it is initially parked, then a 10-minute grace period should be given before a parking ticket is issued after it becomes illegally parked.
How long do you have to leave a car park after paying?

If you’ve paid for a 24 hour stay and you wish to extend this, you can simply top-up your stay at the standard tariff price. The tariff prices will reset after 24 hours, these prices can be seen on the tariff board in the car park or online.
Can you park in West Quay car park overnight?
The West Quays car park is closed overnight, last entry is at 10pm and the earliest exit is at 5:30am. The over night charge is £5 and you do need to get your ticket validated by the Reception Team at the hotel. Hope this helps.
