No.The app is free to download, there are no hidden fees or convenience charges, nor mandatory notifications which we charge for. Some optional notifications can be set up for which there is a charge. This is explained when you are opting in to these notifications.
How does NCP auto pay work?
AutoPay is a feature which allows you to pay for parking automatically at participating car parks if you’ve enabled AutoPay for your vehicle in the app. This means you can drive in and out of the car park without having to take a ticket on entry, or use the pay machine.

Our pay machines in ticketless car parks do not accept cash. You need a debit/credit card to pay in ticketless car parks. If you don’t have one on you, you can use a contactless payment device at the machine, or you can Pay Later online within 24 hours of driving out the car park.

To pay at a barrier site, you must download the NCP ParkPass app first and register for an account. You’d then select the barrier site you want to park and swipe to pay. This will display your personal QR barcode which you need to scan at the barrier on entry and exit.
