Why are Motability advance payments so high?
Some larger or high specification cars require an additional upfront payment or ‘Advance Payment’ as we call it. The Advance Payment covers the difference between the cost of your car and your allowance paid over the length of the agreement. It is not a deposit and is therefore not refundable.
