How do FSU scholarships work?
Scholarships are very competitive and awarded based on academic merit (combination of academic weighted grade point average AND test scores). Will I lose my Bright Futures if I fail a class?
You must earn credit for all hours paid by your Bright Futures scholarship. Hours paid must equal hours earned. Funds for hours not earned because they are dropped, withdrawn, failed, retaken or for any other reason should be repaid immediately if you calculate that your GPA will meet requirements.
What happens if I drop below 12 credit hours Bright Futures?
If you drop below half time, you must repay the entire summer Bright Futures award. If you withdraw from a course, and remain at least half time, then you will have to repay Bright Futures for that course. You will be ineligible for Bright Futures until you have repaid in full.
Will Bright Futures pay for a second bachelor’s degree?
