This is a very safe area. We also stayed fairly close by at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Allen Park. Very nice stay and convenient to Ford Museum. Also, when visiting Ford Museum, get there when it opens.

Yes, it is expensive but it is worth it. I’ve been to several venues in which it is absolutely crowded and not fun. Henry Ford does it right! They have timed entry and limit the amount of people in the museum and village at one time.
