If you opt to ignore your ticket some parking companies may give up, especially if the cost of pursuing you outweighs the money you owe. However, ignoring your ticket could mean you find yourself in civil court. You might also be able to appeal to the place where you were shopping.

May sound strange advise, but the best day to visit is on a rainy day. The park is still open, yes, its wet but if you go prepared, it is half empty with minimal queues. Take a good rain mac, or buy one of the ponchos when you get there and embrace the rain, and the short queues.

The best days to go are Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, as on these days the queues are up to four times shorter since most people are in school or at work.

5 answers. There are lockers at the entrance and situated around the park, this is the only “secure” place to store your stuff but beware they charge £2 per opening of the locker so if you’ll need your stuff out during the day it can get expensive.

Can I take a backpack to Thorpe Park?
Hi Sandra, you won’t be able to take any bags on most of the rides. Most rides provide shelving to put your bags on whilst you’re on the ride, and some rides have a baggage hold where staff take care of your bags whilst you’re on the ride.
Can you wear bum bags on rides?
For most of the rides, you’ll likely be able to just leave the bag around your waist, but for the ones that have a lap bar or over the shoulder harness that would make that uncomfortable, you’ll be able to either keep your bag in a small storage area or just down at your feet.
