How do you cool down tyres?
Despite checking the tyre pressure regularly, some water can be poured on the rubber to cool it down faster.
Can I inflate my tires after driving?
You can, but once they cool down, they will be underinflated. Always pump up a tire to the specific PSI when cold.
Can you put air in a hot tire?
If a tire is hot, set a pumps pressure to four PSI above the recommended cold inflation tire pressure. Tires will increase one PSI in temperature every five minutes for the first twenty minutes of driving, resulting in an increase or decrease of 4 PSI when in change of temperature.
